Tampere Street Style is created to prove that there are stylish people and personal individuals also in Tampere. We want to proudly present these people to you. The site is brought to you by two stylish girls and two geeks who made it possible.
You may freely use your own picture, but please link back to us. If you regret that your picture is presented in here, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Please comment in English, comments in Finnish will be removed. We don’t want to limit the readers to only Finnish speaking public, and not all the people in the pics are native Finns either. There is nothing wrong with Finnish, but it’s easier to showcase Finnish street style (we are proud of) in international language.
Comments are moderated and malicious feedback quickly removed. Everybody can freely give their opinion as long as it’s constructive.
Tuija Hirvonen / Anna Laaksonen
Tuija and Anna have been dreaming to put these sites up for a while. They have been actively following several street style blogs, and decided to make one about Tampere.
Anna is a dress sewer and studies business in Helsinki and Tuija is working as a youth worker. They both are inspired by street style, fashion, music, parties, movies, body modifications and so on.
Teemu Hirvonen / Joona Petrell
Teemu is responsible for the site graphics and layout. Joona is our code guru. Teemu is a freelance graphic designer who has just moved to Tampere. Joona works as a developer in Nokia and also designs graphics as a hobby.
